Gundam in the Countryside!? A Mysterious Mobile Suit Protecting the Fields!
Driving through rural Japan, you sometimes come across sights so unexpected that you have to do a double take. This time, I stumbled upon something truly astonishing…
Meet “Countryside Gundam.”
🏡 The Perfect Blend of Gundam and Rural Japan
Surrounded by rice fields and bamboo forests, this quiet village looked like any other… until I spotted a life-sized Gundam standing proudly in front of a farmhouse! Could it be that the Earth Federation is secretly testing a new rural defense strategy?
Well, not quite. This Gundam is clearly handmade, but that just makes it even more charming!
🤖 “Equipped with a Beam Rifle, Defending the Farmland!”
This countryside Gundam is armed with a beam rifle (or something that resembles one) and appears ready for battle. But instead of fighting Zeon forces, its real mission might be to keep crows and wild boars away from the crops.
🌾 “RX-78-2? No, This is RX-FARM-78!”
Unlike its city-dwelling counterparts, this Gundam has a sturdier and more rustic look. Could it be a special agricultural model? If we had to give it a name, I’d call it the “RX-FARM-78.”

🐱 “I Am the Guardian of Rural Peace!”
Why is this Gundam here? No one knows for sure. Maybe a local built it for fun, or perhaps it’s a high-tech scarecrow designed to protect the fields from intruders. Either way, it’s a fantastic sight to see!
🚗 “Does Your Town Have a Countryside Gundam?”
Japan’s rural areas are full of quirky, handmade objects, and this is just one of many. Next time you’re driving through the countryside, keep your eyes open—you never know what you might find!
