【Legendary Cup Ramen】 Finally Got My Hands on MisoKin!

Hello, fellow ramen lovers!
And to those who just randomly clicked on this article!

Today, I’m reviewing "MisoKin", a cup ramen that’s been making waves in Japan.
For those outside Japan wondering, “What’s MisoKin?”, here’s a quick explanation.

【What is MisoKin?】

MisoKin is a limited-edition premium miso ramen created by Japan’s top YouTuber HIKAKIN in collaboration with Nissin Foods.
This is already the third limited-time release, and every time it sells out instantly—a true rockstar of the cup noodle world.
I finally got my hands on one before it disappeared into legend, so let’s dig in!

【Unboxing: Packaging & Inside Look】

First, let’s talk about the packaging—
HIKAKIN’s face is printed boldly on the cup, staring right at you.
Is this a ramen or a religious relic? Should I bow before eating?

Opening the lid, the toppings include bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, and green onions.
There’s also a little red packet labeled "Special Flavor Oil" attached to the lid.

We all know what that means…
This magical oil will change everything once added.
This just got exciting!

【Tasting MisoKin】

Misokin

1. The Broth

First sip…

“Whoa, this is RICH! But surprisingly refined!!”

The white miso base has a gentle garlic kick, but not overpowering.
The sesame and ginger notes make it feel fancier than your typical cup ramen.

Unlike other miso ramen, it’s not overly salty—more on the smooth and mild side.
If you love super salty, junky cup noodles, this might feel a bit too delicate.

2. The Noodles

Next, let’s try the noodles.

“YES! These curly noodles are amazing!”

The wavy texture helps absorb the broth, making every bite flavorful.
They’re fried noodles (not non-fried), so they have a classic cup noodle feel—but in a good way!

If these were non-fried noodles, they’d probably be even better.
But hey, no complaints!

3. The Toppings

The bean sprouts are a rare topping in cup ramen, adding a nice crunchy texture.
Bamboo shoots and green onions enhance the flavor, but there’s no meat.

At first, I thought, “No meat? Are they serious?”
But after tasting it, I realized—
This is an adult miso ramen. No distractions, just pure umami.

【Final Verdict】 Should You Buy MisoKin?

⭐️ Overall Rating: 5/5

“This is next-level cup ramen…!”

It’s more refined and balanced compared to regular cup noodles.
The miso’s depth and garlic’s mild kick make it super addictive.

But be warned: it sells out FAST.
If you see one at 7-Eleven, buy it immediately!

Also, don’t buy from resellers.
Apparently, some people are selling empty MisoKin cups on Mercari…
Japan, what are we doing? 😂

【Conclusion】 If You Find MisoKin, Don’t Hesitate!

Instant ramen in Japan isn’t just "Cup Noodles" or "Chicken Ramen"—
There’s a legendary cup ramen called MisoKin!

Good luck, and may you never become a MisoKin refugee. 🍜🔥
